Our Installation Process
Excavation & Base
Excavation to solid ground and compaction of 100mm–150mm MOT Type 1 aggregate.
Slurry Primer Application
Polymer-modified slurry primer painted onto the underside of each stone slab.
Full Wet Mortar Bed
Slabs tapped into position on a continuous 40mm wet mortar bed using rubber mallets.
Epoxy Jointing
Brush-in or gun-in exterior jointing resin sealed into 5mm–8mm expansion joints.
